THANKS TO CALVARY

WOW today is my FIRST year being saved...And it's just thanks to calvary. I was listening to the that song the choir sings: Thanks to Calvary. To think a year ago I was someone completely different. I was talking to one of the saints in church about how much God has changed my life and how I was one of the very least people to ever even be considered for salvation, just in a pit of sin and so far down that it looked almost impossible for me to get out but God saw passed the mess I was in and reached in to pull me out when I called to him. God is so good to me and I'm just so thankful for how he saved me and keeps me every day.

Fellowship....

1 John 1:13

That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.


It's fellowship time again! The message from Brother Dukes was really good, and I got a lot out of it. It's such a blessing to see saints from other congregations standing for the truth; it kind of helps you to see that you're not the only one in the world following God.

Today I have to help my Mom for fellowship a lot...We're going to make some truffles tonight for fellowship (it's the dessert my Mom has to bring.) Yummy!!!!!!!!!!! And were making an appetizer. I don't think I have any jobs tonight...but I think I do on Saturday and Sunday...anyway I have nothing more to say. Leave a comment if you want.

School, School, and yet more School.

Well, I think the title of this one says it all.

There wasn't really anything of much interest except for my school work;

I thought originally that I had 10 classes, but was relieved today when I found that there were only 9. :D I didn't wake up as early as I would have liked too this morning, I went right back to bed at 6:40 after Rebekah called and woke up I think about 2 hours later at 8:5o (something, I think). I still have to do my Math and Work out. -Cries-

Anywhooo that's the big poop scoop of today!

Todays Post

I started off the day with a splitting headache at 5:30 in the morning which lasted I think until about 10:00 a.m. today. I called Liz and almost instantly after I asked her to pray for me, God healed my headache and helped it to go away. Now I'm just waiting for this eye of mine to heal completly. I was working out today, then after I got out of the shower my eye got all swollen. I've noticed a pattern in this that when ever I work out and sweat then get wet that my eye swells up.

I called Liz and asked her to pray, because you know it dosn' necessariy feel too good when your eye is swollen; (anyway, this is beside the point) God healed my eye from swelling any further, now it just looks a bit lazy.

I hope you guys like the layout I made for a little while; I'm going to try and figure out to customize it more to my liking for a 'Fall' theme. Anyway, let me know what you guys think. :D

My First post!

I woke up late today and got a late start on my responsibilities. I'm making sugar cookies with lots of yummy colorful frostings and cute sprinkles to top them off. The cookies are for Sister Robin and Sister Edith; I had fun making them. Because I have to make cookies for fellowship I get to experiment with different sugar cookie recipes. This one is alright, but I think I'm going to try another one before I settle on one in particular recipe. I think I'm improving on my piano, and I hope to play pretty songs on the piano one day...meaning that Shane's going to need to give me a new lesson soon.

Anyway, this is just a big jumble of thoughts; don'tcha think? :D
